Tribute to Matthew Davies

Matthew Davies

Today is a very sad day for me and my family.

I first met Matt at ERA in 1981. We got talking over a picture on the Art room wall of Mount Panorama in Bathurst. Matt told me his Dad has been there and from that moment a bond that lasted 30 years was made.

Over the years we shared many good times together, in Tamworth, Alice Springs, England and Canberra. Matt's great sense of humour, willingness to lend a hand and our shared interest in cars made our friendship special. He was a great mate and my family and I will never forget him.

Rest in Peace dear friend. You will be missed by all those fortunate enough to have known you.
